A hymn which explores the coming of the spirit on the day of Pentecost and the way in which all people are caught up by it as prophesied by Joel.

Extract:

responding to your gracious call.

you make your purpose clearly known;
and those who hear and understand
have caught your drift, speak with your tone.

Yet as we gather in this place
the act seems empty, incomplete;
for as we worship at your throne
we find you kneeling at our feet.
