Thank goodness for that!
Fresh air at last! I can’t believe it!
And you can’t imagine what it’s like in there.
The smell! The noise! The overcrowding!
Well, what did he expect it would be like when he crowded all those people and animals together? It may look like a big boat from the outside, but there were far too many creatures in there for any of us to have any comfort.
And can you imagine how difficult the whole performance was from the start?
What would you say if your husband came in one day and told you he was going to build a gigantic boat and make sure that all the family was safe inside it when the floods came?
When the floods came?
What on earth was he talking about?
We were living in one of the driest places on earth: sun beating down every day: no rain for – oh, I don’t know how long. And he was setting up a boatyard!
