Persistent Widow
Luke 18:1-8**
Here we meet up with a judge and a widow, the widow had been treated unfairly and wanted to be granted grace from the judge… he wouldn't help her. Jesus used this situation as a parable to help us think about prayer. The widow continually followed the judge pleading her case. Eventually the judge gave in. We have games to play, a story to listen to, crafts, colouring, a bible verse we can learn and a prayer to share. Along the way we hear that prayer is extremely important, that conversation we have with God, if we keep talking to God and sharing what is really important with him he will answer our prayers. It is all divided into 2 age groups, 6 and under and 7 and over, then a second section for family study that also has prompts for preschoolers and teens so you can tailor it to your needs.
