1 Accept‚ good Lord‚ the thanks we give
for this fair land in which we live‚
its field and forest‚ mountain‚ plain
and richly copious fruit and grain.
2 From small beginnings have we come
to make this fertile place our home‚
affliction’s furnace travelled through —
and known your strong deliverance too!
