Us and Them
Mark 9:38-41
Here we are going to learn about Jesus hearing the disciples are getting upset when they discover others healing in the name of Jesus. We have games to play, a story to listen to, crafts, colouring, a bible verse we can learn and a prayer to share. Along the way we will we learn that although the disciples were upset Jesus encouraged them not see things as “us and them” and to be pleased that others were helping others find the way to God. Jesus also encouraged the disciples to look at themselves rather than judge others. It is all divided into 2 age groups, 6 and under and 7 and over, then a second section for family study that also has prompts for preschoolers and teens so you can tailor it to your needs.
