Let us go into the wilderness with Christ,
Leaving behind
The clamour of life
In the fast lane
Letting go of things
We cling to.
Let us fast with our Lord
Hungering for righteousness
And thirsting for God’s word.
Let us touch the barren rock
And remember the cascade
That Moses brought
Gushing forth
At God’s command
