Meditation – 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time Yr C
Jesus is watching telly
Luke 10: 38-42

Hello Lord, it’s great to see you. You’ve come a bit early though. I’m very busy right now; anyway, come in, sit down, and make yourself comfortable. Put the telly on if you want, or choose a DVD, although, come to think of it, none of them are really suitable for you.  Sorry. Anyway, there are CDs there as well. There are some Songs of Fellowship, which I’m sure you’ll like, oh and some hymns - maybe they’re more your style. There are also some magazines there and books over on the shelf. Just make yourself at home; I’ll be in the kitchen. I’ve still got a lot to do towards dinner tonight. Mary and Lazarus will be along in a while; I don’t know where Mary is… I expected her to be here by now… I know Lazarus will be in from work in few minutes...
