Meditation – 2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time Yr A
Let the Son shine in
John 1: (1-9) 10-18

They say that my eyes are the window to my soul, the lamp that lights up my whole body. If my eyes are good then my whole being will be full of light! Pure eyes will let the sunshine into my soul!
 
Lord I love sunshine. In the depth of winter I long for the warmth of the summer sun. I relive the memories of the summer that is past, and hold on to the promise of the summer that is to come.

Truly the sun is the light of my physical world! I revel in its warmth and its light. I love its early rising, its lazy tracking across the sky on long summers days, and its slow, magnificent descent, when day is done...
