The following day the chief priests went to Pilate again.
Caiaphas: Sir, we have one more request.
Pilate: Oh! Not more! What now?
Caiaphas: We hear that our colleague Joseph of Arimathea has laid the body in his tomb.
Pilate: You don’t want to crucify him again do you? Just to be sure?
Caiaphas: Of course not. On the contrary we want to make very sure he stays in there.
Pilate: Well I won’t let you nail him to the floor – I can assure you of that now.
Caiaphas: Just a simple guard will do, Pilate.
