Exodus 23:10–12
God of the Sabbath,
we thank you for the freedoms of holiday time:
freedom from work and routine;
freedom to travel and have new experiences;
freedom to rest and to play.
We thank you for the opportunities of holiday time:
to view our lives from another angle;
to spend time with family and friends;
to be able to be ourselves...
