From there Jesus went to the synagogue. There was a man there with a withered hand. The Pharisees had followed Jesus and were watching him very closely. Jesus called to the man.
Jesus: What’s your name?
Simeon: Simeon.
Jesus: Simeon, come and stand here with me at the front.
The man stood up and self-consciously made his way towards Jesus. Every eye in the place rested upon him as he shuffled forward.
