The Tax Collector's Prayer
Luke 18:9-14**

Here we meet up with Jesus teaching another parable about a Pharisee and a tax collector going to pray. the Pharisee takes centre stage in the temple, when the tax collector enters he looks ashamed and uncomfortable, when the Pharisee notices him he starts to brag about how good he is, making the tax collector feel any worse, the tax collector asks for mercy and forgiveness. We have games to play, a story to listen to, crafts, colouring, a bible verse we can learn and a prayer to share. Along the way we hear that Jesus felt that the tax collector's humility had brought him closer to God. It is all divided into 2 age groups, 6 and under and 7 and over, then a second section for family study that also has prompts for preschoolers and teens so you can tailor it to your needs.
