Prayer: God who calls us to pray
God who calls us to pray and work for others, we recognize that there are so many different ways in which we can fulfil that calling.
We also know that there are so many people who need help and need prayer. The demands are constant.
The needs are great.
And Jesus showed by his example how to respond in practical and spiritual ways.
So we come to pray for those we know who are sick, suffering, or sorrowful.
In this quiet time we bring their names and needs before you.

God of healing, hear our prayer.
