This is a form of intercessions that can be used at any service but particularly on with a focusing on truth and justice, the media or world events. Advent would be a good time.
Let us pray
Firstly Lord, we thank you as the one who is ‘the Way, the Truth and the Life.’
We pray for all those who seek to tell the truth where it is not welcome, for journalists, politicians, activists and ordinary individuals who may be caught up in events beyond their control.
