Each of the following sketches (scenes) can be used to form the basis for a complete act of worship or used as individual scenes on separate occasions. Each scene will require a narrator to read the linking text as well as the characters in the scene itself.

The Argument about Greatness (Short Sketch)
When evening came Jesus and his disciples ventured into the city and went to the house. As they sat down to eat a dispute broke out amongst them.
James: Let me sit there.
Peter: No that’s my place!
James: You always take the best seats!
Matthew: What about me – I always have to wait for the second sitting.
Peter: Don’t be ridiculous – it’s just a question of priorities.
Matthew: What priorities?
Peter: Well it’s obvious isn’t it?
James: He’s referring to his special status as a prime slab!
Peter: Rock! Not slab…
