Description
Monologue: The parable of the sower – Peter’s defence
Fourth Sunday after Pentecost
Matthew 13: 1-9, 18-23

meaning of the story to us – but we didn’t have your hindsight. That story was only
minutes old, not aged by two thousand years of interpretation. We didn’t get the
chance to get bored with it, or to say, ‘Oh no! Not that one again!’
And none of us were farmers either. Not proper ones...
