Lord,
You are the potter
I am the clay -
Formless and shapeless
Yet, in your creative hands,
Full of potential
To be shaped and moulded
Into a vessel
Filled to overflowing with your love
Pouring out to others.
But Lord,
So many times I refuse to let you work.
I slip through your fingers,
Not wanting to be changed,
Preferring to stay as I am,
Though I know your design for me
Is infinitely more wonderful,
Beautiful...
