Description
Monologue/ Poem The Serpent’s Tale
I’m the snake from the Garden of Eden –
a slithery giant-sized worm.
My voice is a menacing sibilant sound –
designed to make everyone squirm.
You may think you know all my adventures –
they’re there in the Bible, you see.
But try looking at it from my point of view.
Just think what it’s like to be me!
Everybody casts me as the villain –
the very first snake in the grass.
But what makes you think that it’s always my fault?
I think you should blame that young lass?
