God will lead me‚ God will guide me‚
as a shepherd with the sheep;
God will walk the road beside me‚
be it easy‚ rough or steep.

Sometimes I‚ God’s son or daughter‚
into pleasant places led‚
there will find refreshing water
and in comfort rest my head.

God will‚ yet‚ at times direct me
through dark canyons on my way‚
but with loving care protect me
and my deepest fears allay.
