Like some tsunami pulling back,
the sea piled up, the ground was dry.
The Hebrews saw a way across,
a way to flee, a way to fly.
Egyptians followed in their wake,
but all at once the wave came on,
their chariots were swept away,
the Pharoah’s army swamped and gone.
Today we seek to understand
what made the sea pull back and part.
The Hebrew’s simply saw through faith
an act of God, God played a part...
