Hymn: Whenever we're challenged by loss or disaster
Proper 12 year A
Romans 8: 26 – 39
Whenever we're challenged by loss or disaster
when horror is stalking, and health drains away,
when hope has been strangled and faith follows after,
our God never leaves us by night or by day.
And when we feel further from all that brings comfort,
and longing brings hopelessness, fear comes to play...
Tune: STREETS OF LAREDO
Sixth Sunday after Pentecost, Romans 8: 26 – 39, hymn, God’s
faithfulness, comfort, hopelessness, loss, disaster, faith, derision
