The Millennium Bridge - or Blinking Eye as it's sometimes known - spans the Tyne linking pedestrians with Newcastle and Gateshead. The bridge is tilted to allow a boat to pass under it. In the distance you can see the Tyne Bridge and Swing Bridge. On the left of the picture is the Sage Gateshead and on the right, Newcastle's Quayside.
