Several days later Jesus and his friends returned to Capernaum. They met in a local house and soon the crowd was so large that no one could get in, or even come close to the building. As he was teaching four friends arrived, carrying a paralytic, Ezra, on a stretcher. But there were so many people they could not find a way though to the door into the house.

Thomas:   Get back on that stretcher.
Ezra:   I don’t feel too ill actually.
Benjamin:   Course you do, now lie down.
Ezra:   But honestly - I feel fine...
Ruth:   Well, you look a funny colour to me.
Ezra:   What!!
Josh:   Look, of course you’re not well - you haven’t walked for twenty-three years.
Ezra:   Well... that is true, but...
Ruth:   I mean, just look at his eyes, and feel that temperature!
Ezra.   What do you mean? Oh listen, please, will you put me down? I don’t want to go...   stop it... let me go... HELP! HELP! I’m being pushed into this...
