Genesis 1. 1-5 Monologue (an angel sits centrally)
See, now I don’t care who you are or what you’ve seen in your life – that, there was power. Power that makes the feathers on your wings quiver. Goose-bumpy all over that’s what I was the day God created. I mean, let’s be honest, we’ve all done a little something haven’t we…created? Tinkered with wood work, gone to a painting class, tried our hands at a spot of wood-work. Perhaps you’ve made a nice stool or a tea-cosy or crocheted a pair of swimming trunks…nice. But to say ‘let there be light’ and for light to flood from the heavens and burst out and flow everywhere, for it to cascade through the universe…now that is power – creative power.
