Meditation – 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time Yr B
He couldn’t do it
Mark 10: 17-31

I haven’t seen many rich men as humble as that one;
He ran up to Jesus, and fell on his knees before him.
That’s a rare thing for a rich man to do,
Fall on his knees in front of a homeless itinerant preacher,
And with so many people watching, too.
And then to call Jesus a ‘good teacher’, I was really impressed.
In fact, I thought ‘here is a man who’s going to be joining us,
Jesus isn’t going to let this one get away’...
