God of compassion, we come to you with images in our minds of the millions of people who are in need in many parts of your world.
We pray for those who are caught up in a conflict not of their own making and who need help to escape to safety.
Compassionate God, help and protect them.
We pray for refugees shut out from their homeland and not being able to find a welcoming place where they can settle and live.
Compassionate God, help and protect them.
We pray for those people who live in fear in countries controlled by powerful governments ruling with cruelty, injustice and neglect.
