Hannah’s prayer – an alternative

How wonderful it is when God answers prayer with, ‘Yes!’
What joy and happiness it brings and it is understandable that we feel like singing.
It is good to celebrate.

But we must always remember those prayers that never seem to be answered, or when the answer is ‘No!’

So let us pray –

… for those in conflict zones where the enemy is strong and well-armed and innocent people suffer simply because they are living in the wrong place at the wrong time.

… for those who live in areas where crops fail and starvation is an ever-present threat and there is no one to help.

… for those women who will never bear a child, no matter how much they pray.
