J.K. Rowling tells a good story.  While I love the characterizations and humour, mainly I am
gripped by the story in its movement towards its resolution.  For, in the anticipation of the end and
intrigue of how that end will come, the story is given meaning and purpose.  That’s why the final
book is so important.  The end is often the key to the whole thing.  
 
The end is also key to the Christian story.  In the Bible, God’s relationship with human beings is
told in terms of a story.  Genesis gives the beginning and context to this story in the creative acts
of God.  Not unlike some elements of the Harry Potter story, the biblical story tells of the battle
between good and evil, the importance of choices and the possibility of human transformation
through love.
 
What about the end?  Here is a major difference.
