Description
Poem: Holding the pebble
Proper 12 year A
Matthew 13: 31 – 33
That pebble was smooth, hard and cold,
inanimate,
unyielding,
shaped by countless years
of pounding seas and rocks.
Like millions more, it seemed –
yet not the same.
