Rich Fool
He was a decent sort of man,
quite pleasant.
Always found time to chat to his neighbour – take an interest in them –
and sometimes he really went out of his way to help someone in trouble.
He enjoyed a walk in the country:
flowers, birds, trees
- that sort of thing.
And he believed in God:
prayed.
Not every day, perhaps – but no-one’s perfect, after all.
He’d always been fairly well off and “money makes money”, they say.
That certainly worked for him....
