bring comfort,

relief and healing.

Wherever bodies are broken

through the stress

of conflict and fleeing homes,

bring hope, strength

and restoration.

Wherever bodies are broken

through torture,

abuse or false imprisonment,

bring freedom

faith and justice.

Whether through doctors,

peacemakers,

politicians, miracles

or the actions of ordinary people,

God of wholeness,

through your great love and mercy

hear our prayer. Amen.
