Lord God, you are our rock,
a very present help in trouble:
strengthen us to work to your glory,
that we may proclaim your love, live in faith,
and build on the firm foundation of Christ our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, world without end. Amen.
Lord our God, when we and your church are beset by change and by storms
may we stand firm on that sure foundation which is Christ our Lord.
May we not be turned aside into that which is less than the full gospel.
Protect all who seek to defend the faith....
