Reflection/Dialogue on 1 Corinthians 12: 12–31a

Notes: A reflection on 1 Corinthians 12:12–31a as a conversation between a person and God
on the phone or the internet without a video link.

First speaker:
A committee of one, me, is so much easier to handle don't you think?
Well, all right, you could join me.
But there are a some conditions.

2. It would really be best if we had the same taste in clothes. I wouldn't want to be ashamed to be seen with you would I?

Second speaker:
And God says:
I put you all together. My choice. Not yours. You all need each other.
Where would you really be on your own?
Imagine yourselves as parts of a body. All the bits are necessary.
Eyes, hands, heads. You need all the bits.
The bits that are cool and those that seem ugly.
