Description

Jesus told stories to challenge people to think in new ways. In the parable of the greedy farmer, he says that lots of money or things do not make people well-off in God's view. There is an opportunity in this session to think about starting a social action project. Such projects help all ages to realise how well-off they are compared with many other people and to understand that they can make a difference. Taking part in social action, 'being Jesus in the world', is a significant part of growing as a disciple of Christ.

Session aim: To recognise all the blessings God gives and to understand the need to thank him.
