My own Christian faith often helps me in this. I used to think that faith would solve all of my
problems and lead to me living a life that was as balanced and stable as a toddlers’ roundabout
ride. Now I know that it is not like that. Christian faith for me has been more like a roller-
coaster, in terms of its ups and downs, its excitement and its challenges.
It also provides a different way of looking at the inevitable problems of life.
