1 Corinthians 16.15-24

A young woman I met the other day was complaining about a new outfit she had bought at considerable expense in a fashionable store. She had worn it precisely once; and at the end of the evening she discovered that the seams were coming unstitched. The visual effect of trying it on, and wearing it for one occasion, had been terrific; but the workmanship had been very poor. Whoever had been in charge of the detailed, painstaking task of making sure the stitching was in good shape had not been concentrating. What was worse, the outfit had been bought abroad, and the event was back home, so no complaint could be registered without making an expensive journey...
