Where this world's turned upside down -
Wine from water; health from sickness;
Bread from none; a Kingdom shown.
Jesus stands in all these stories,
Human being with godly powers;
By his words and signs and spirit
We shall find God's life is ours.
There are stories in the Bible
That reveal a world made new -
Thousands fed; the blinds' eyes opened,
Seas made calm; a Kingdom true.
Jesus lives in all these stories,
Son of God and godly man;
By his love and life and teaching
We shall see God's humble plan.
