You’re holding a party… who will you invite? This is what Jesus had to say: ‘When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives or your rich neighbours…’ ‘When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind.’ Luke 14:13 In our world, some people always seem to be excluded from the celebrations. The one billion people who do not have enough to eat. Those left out because of their caste, colour or ethnic group. The 1,345 million people who survive on less than 80p a day. Lord, you envisage a world where no one is left out… …where the poor, the vulnerable and the needy are invited to the feast.

Over one billion people went to bed hungry last night. But millions more didn't, thanks to fair trade and MRDF's community projects.

Fair Feast gives you the opportunity to help eradicate hunger and make the world a fairer place. it's a great way to celebrate Pancake Day and Fairtrade Fortnight in 2011, and raise money that will be invested in some of the world's poorest communities, through MRDF's partners.
