Meditation –2nd Sunday of Easter Year C
Hope and Believe
John 20:19-31

We’ve seen him with our own eyes!
It was absolutely amazing!
I don’t really know what to say.
This morning some of us went to the tomb only to find that Jesus’ body had gone.
The women said two angels spoke to them, told them that he had risen from the dead.

We really didn’t know what to believe; we saw him taken away from us, humiliated, beaten, mocked and tortured.
We saw him too weak to carry his cross.
We actually saw him nailed to the cross.
And we saw him die:  so how could he be alive?
