Opening scene
Old Mary (Grandma) is sitting at a table slowly sipping tea. Her granddaughter Ruth arrives for a visit.
Ruth - Grandma, Grandma are you in? it’s Ruth your granddaughter, I’ve come for a visit.
Grandma - Yes dear, come in…..how lovely to see you. I was just taking my afternoon rest.
Ruth - Oh! I’m sorry Grandma shall I come back later?
Grandma - No dear, don’t be silly. Come, sit and drink tea with me. I was just thinking about the old days.
Ruth - Before I was born?
Grandma - Yes dear. Now I’m getting older I often think about those days (she sighs), but ignore the ramblings of an old lady.
Ruth - Oh no Grandma, please tell me, is it about Grandad Joseph and uncle Jesus? It is true all the amazing stories I hear from mum and dad, you know about uncle Jesus?
