There have been countless stories about him, from bible times to the present day, and, although we have no record of his features, his face has been imagined in hundreds of different ways through the centuries.
We all think we know Jesus - every Christmas we sing: 'Christian children all must be / mild, obedient, good as he'.
But is that how we really see him?
