Description
This reflection/short (1278 words) sermon examines people’s attitudes to their needs. In this passage, Jesus highlights the spiritual needs of people and their need for a spiritual doctor. He contrasts the attitude of those in the crowd, who feel they are self-sufficient, with those who know their needs and take action to meet them by going to a doctor. By implication Jesus is himself the spiritual doctor.
