My wife used to work for one of the most successful and wealthy people in the United States (this did not mean she brought a wonderful dowry into our marriage). Her job was to help him do something with his money, and the projects she was involved in were worthwhile, impressive, interesting, and often educational. One entailed the remodelling of a mansion in a posh neighbourhood in Europe, where she recently dreamed all our combined extended family was moving to live, and another entailed the restoration of a number of World War II military aircraft. Often the projects were of direct benefit to ordinary or needy people, and her boss had pledged to give away most of his money in his lifetime...
