Description
Poem/dramatic reading: Consequences
(this piece could be performed as a stand-alone poem; but it could also be used with several voices taking the parts of the girl, the lady/wife, the man/general, the prophet, the advisor and a narrator reading lines 10 and 16)
One young girl, captive and in service.
One rich lady with an ailing husband.
One powerful man, conscious of his status.
One young girl speaking of God’s healer.
One anxious wife passing on the message.
One desperate man seeking a solution.
One hermit prophet giving simple orders.
