Poem: Too busy?
Busy-ness denotes duty
and duty demands dedication
and dedication inspires devotion:
but busy-ness can also hide emptiness,
mask loneliness,
produce resentment,
lead to self-imposed martyrdom
and miss those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities
to listen and learn.
