Description
The words of the third verse of 'Away in a manger' are a prayer asking Jesus to bless us and to 'fit us for heaven to live with thee there'. This session provides everyone with a chance to think about heaven. This links with using Lent as a time of training in discipleship. As we try to follow Jesus more closely, so he is able to 'fit us', to shape us, for heaven.
Session aim: To consider the wonders of heaven.
