Jesus the healer

When Jesus promised to give 'life in its fullest' (John 10:10), he was talking about physical and mental health as well as emotional and spiritual well-being. In the Gospels, there are many accounts of Jesus healing people in different ways. In today's story, Jesus recognises the faith of the friends and their commitment in bringing the paralysed man to him.

Session aim: To understand that Jesus heals people who are unwell.
