Description
Poem: Straight and narrow
Proper 18 Year A
Psalm 119: 33-40
The straight and narrow path
should be easy to follow.
After all it is hemmed in
and clearly defined.
It is signposted
and marked on the map
and leads to only one place.
But there are distractions along the way,
wide roads that entice the imagination
and fire curiosity.
What if I take this side-track for a time?
Where will it lead me?
It can’t do any harm...
