I cannot bear to watch the news, to see those images of war and death; grieving women, frightened children, devastation, overflowing hospitals, pain and fear. I listen, though, and read of Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, peace-keepers, terrorists, green on blue attacks, the indiscriminate slaughter of the innocent, collateral damage, friendly fire, suicide bombers, insurgents, soldiers, tanks and guns...
