Easter Day
Matthew 28: 1-10
We were always in the background,
always ignored;
accepted for what we could do,
but not for who we are.
We followed Jesus too -
listened to his words;
were thankful for his wisdom;
rejoiced as he healed and helped:
witnessed miracles
wherever he went
and knew his love and forgiveness
for ourselves,
as well as others...
